The Emperor is supposed to broadcast to the Nation today, this is another of the small rumours from the other day. Blackout last night.
Food as yesterday, vegetable stew a little better.
The 15th is supposed to be a day of prayer and Yasume.
Owing to a change in Japanese staff we had about the quietest day, free from interference, and we did more work than when we are chivvied all day.
There is a great wave of optimism throughout the Camp now owing to the Russian news and bets are being made as to when we shall be free men again, some are estimating weeks and some in days.
The prayer -"HOW LONG O LORD, HOW LONG" has now ceased to be uttered.
