The wailers were well on the go last night.
The Interpreter, who has been away for a couple of days, on his return said that it was disgraceful the way PoWs were being treated in the way of food. Japan was in a bad way but not so bad that we should be treated as we were.
Another wet day on the farm with the inevitable soaking through and drying out. In spite of the heavy clouds and rain the wailers were on the go this afternoon followed very soon after by the rumbling of what appeared to be bomb explosions.
