A couple of days back we got news that a Chinese Civilian Camp was badly off for food, cigarettes, they had received no relief goods whatsoever so we made a collection of cigarettes for them yesterday and sent them over today. We are now going to send, as soon as possible, some of our surplus rice, of which we have plenty and as soon as we get definite word of moving, will send all our surplus relief goods to them.
Two British Squads have been told to hold themselves in readiness to move off on the word go.
