Sirens on the go pretty well all night.
Bread has stopped as yeast has given out, but the amount of rice in lieu was very small.
Not a Siren has been heard all day.
Sold a watch today for 5 packets tobacco which I expect to get tomorrow (the present market value of this lot in Camp is Yen 100) and a half bowl of rice each morning for 10 days, this, also starts tomorrow.
There is also a spate of rumours which are supposed to have emanated from the Interpreter. They are: that a Commando raid was made on OSAKA (no further particulars), that Korea is occupied by American Troops and that talks commence again in Moscow on the 5th with a Japanese representative attending. These are also supposed to have come from another source.
