Sirens and Planes on the go last night.
Had potato soup with no solids again this morning.
Touch wood, the new Guard, so far, seem to be more like human beings than the cruellest of animals.
The Sirens were well on the go all afternoon. More potato soup this evening.
Heard of an interesting incident, it appears that the Dutch Officer i/c Baggage Room wanted the key to put away some blankets, but the Japanese were so concentrated on listening to the wireless that they would take no notice of him what-so-ever, and, after the speech (whatever it was) was finished, they all stood up and bowed to the wireless, so it must have been something frightfully important given out by some very highly placed personage.
