Heard that Tokyo had another visit from 500 B-29s supported by 100 P-51s on the 29th.

The Dutch Officer i/c Red + was sent for this afternoon whilst he was in the bath by the Japanese Interpreter. When he reported he was made to kneel down and was then told that he, the Interpreter, was in poor health therefore he wanted some milk and chocolate. This, he said, was an order.

There's a plague of fleas on at the moment - real JUMPERS - and they sure can bite. It seems that this country is nothing less than a load of unpleasantness.
